GovSignal

GovSignal is a collaborative, proactive approach to supporting student success through early intervention and coordinating student support services and resources. 学生 will be contacted in various ways once a signal has been issued. 2024-2025年 academic year and beyond, GovSignal will be housed within our university student success management software, 美联社导航. Four types of GovSignals can be initiated within 美联社导航.

学术的信号 - 提交ted by faculty or instructors based on 一个学生's behavior in a course they 目前正在教学.
HandSignal – 提交ted by 一个学生 who needs support or assistance.
推荐 - 提交ted by faculty, instructor, or student support professional on behalf of 一个学生. Currently, referrals can be submitted for 学术顾问, Financial 援助和辅导.
荣誉 – 提交ted by faculty, instructor, or student support professional on behalf of 一个学生. This signal signals to students that they are doing well or have achieved a specific accomplishment (i.e.(院长名单).

Each Signal is assigned to a tier.

Each tier is associated with the response or action related to the signal issued for 一个学生.

一级 Signals are referrals for a specific resource or service initiated on behalf of a student by a faculty or staff person.
层2 Signals will signal the student and their assigned advisor via an email message from 导航.
3级 Signals will signal the advisor via an email message from 导航. 这个信号要求 one-on-one follow-up with the student by the Undergraduate Persistence Counselor.
层4 Signals will automatically open a case for the Undergraduate Persistence Counselor to follow up with the student via phone and text message.
